Growing up in the small town of Warrington (in between Liverpool & Manchester) UK, my parents owned a number of pubs. I moved from pub to pub and this meant our meals were usually your traditional "Pub Meal". I always enjoyed playing football (soccer) and staying active.
After graduating from school in 2009 I entered into the child care industry and gained my diploma in childhood education. It was at this stage that I started going to gym and doing fitness classes.
I always wanted to travel and experience all that life has to offer. So I decided to pack my bags and head off to Australia. Once arriving in Australia I continued to keep up my fitness and this was my first experience with veganism. I was living with my uncle who is vegan and he educated me on the topic. I decided to give it a go.
Within weeks I could start to see results and feel different. My energy levels rose, and my body fat percentage was decreasing. Decision made!
This then led me onto wanting to learn more about my nutrition. I started reading various books, articles and researching online, particularly looking into the effects of animal products on the human body. I enrolled in a number of nutrition courses and plant-based courses when I decided to study to become a nutritionist in 2020.
This affected how I trained, looked and felt. I now always have lots of energy and feel great. I can stay lean all year round which helps with my competition bodybuilding and any photoshoots which may pop up.
I was training 6/7 days a week even twice a day sometimes. I felt I needed a goal, this led me into finding out about ANB (Australian Natural Bodybuilding). I attended one of their workshops and signed up straight away. I wanted to be able to show the world how I was able to build muscle on a vegan diet. I was very nervous at my first comp however I had a great time and met many great people. I was asked a lot of questions as to how I built muscle on a vegan diet. It was great to be able to tell people how to do this. I then went on winning 1st place in the bikini category. This was a massive confidence builder and has led me into the decision to help educate others on how to build plant based muscle.
I am now coaching others both young and old, male and female on the benefits of a vegan diet. Whether you are looking for nutritional advice, an exercise program or just to improve your overall health and wellbeing. I enjoy and love what I do and I am here to help....
